Hello, my name is Josh Perez.

I’m from Mexico and based in the DMV area. Photography has always been something I’ve enjoyed from a young age, but for a long time I couldn’t pursue it due to financial constraints so it is something I kept in the back of my mind. When life finally put me in a better position I decided to start and now I am here very happy.

To me this is more than simply taking pictures. I shoot because I want to capture what a moment actually feels like, the emotion behind it, the memory within it. I do this not for money but because I genuinely love it, especially the process of elevating it and being able to capture the moment for other to keep.

Everywhere I go, people often recommend to stick with one or two type of photography, but I didn’t want to be like everyone else, for me it was able capturing the moment, whether it’s a car, a quiet portrait, a wedding vow, or something as simple as a headshot that someone needs to move forward in life. If it matters to someone I want to give it the same care and dedication.

Every session I take on, big or small, I approach with the same passion.
